Inherited from Ottoman Turkish قاش ایله گوز اراسنده (ḳaş ile göz arasında, between the eyebrow and the eye, instantaneously),[1] equivalent to compound of kaş (eyebrow) +‎ -la (with) +‎ göz (eye) +‎ ara (place or space between two things, interval) +‎ -(s)ı (possessive suffix with "s" as buffer consonant) +‎ -(n)da (locative suffix with "n" as buffer consonant), literally between the eyebrow and the eye. Cognate with Kazakh қас пен көздің арасында (qas pen közdıñ arasynda, in a very short time).
