Etymology

From Proto-Tocharian *kuse, from Proto-Indo-European *kʷusó < *kʷos, *kʷis. Compare Tocharian A kus. Almost identical to Albanian kush from Proto-Albanian *kusa.

   Kᵤse [pi] ksa wesäñ kekamor orocce lant sársäṣṣi?

   Who [has] come to us that he might know the great king?

2. (relative) whoever, who, which, the one who

   [Mā] sū nesäm kᵤse onwaññe tākoy.

   There is no one who is immortal.
