[edit]From jmjw (“(those) being in”) + tꜣ (“earth”) + mw (“water”), literally “those in the earth and water”, modeled after the more common jmw tꜣ (“snakes”, literally “those in the earth”) and jmw-mw (“aquatic animals”, literally “those in the water”).
