- Ej, ziomek, weź tu nie jaraj. ― Hey, homie, don't smoke here.
- (transitive, colloquial) to excite
- Najbardziej jarają go sporty ekstremalne. ― What excites him the most are extreme sports.
- (reflexive with się, slang) to be stoked, to be excited
- Już od tygodnia jara się tym wyjazdem. ― She has been stoked about the trip for a week now.
- (reflexive with się, slang) to burn, to be on fire
- Spójrz! Cały dom się jara! ― Look! The whole house is on fire!
