hypercarnivore (plural hypercarnivores)

  1. Any animal whose diet is predominantly (more than 70%) meat from animals.
    Most sharks are hypercarnivores.
  2. (paleobiology) Any creature with an increased slicing component of dentition relative to the grinding component.
