Etymology

Inherited from Ottoman Turkish حقسز یره (ḥaḳsız yere),[1][2] from حق (ḥaḳ) and یر (yer),[3][4] equivalent to hak (right, justice, truth) +‎ -sız (without, -less) +‎ yer (place, ground) +‎ -e (dative suffix).
