- (intransitive) to remain (to stay behind while others withdraw, e.g. in line or on a queue, not having one’s turn yet)

Usage notes
[edit]It is written in two words in the sense “to be backward, at the back, behind” (as a physical or figurative location), i.e., synonymously with hátul van / áll.[1]
