- Brifka szedł w kùchniã, skądku dało sã czëc naléwanié wòdë w grôp, stôwanié gò na gazu, tszôsk sztrëchólcë... jedny... drëdżi... trzecy..., tej hòlëjące "ałłaaaa" a głosné suwanié pôlca.
- The postman entered the kitchen, from where you could feel the iron pot being poured with water, the gas being placed on it, the strike of matches, one... two... three... then the cry of "awwwaaa" and the loud jumping of a finger.
