faighead
Appearance
Irish
[edit]Verb
[edit]faighead
- first-person singular future dependent of faigh
- (archaic, Munster) first-person singular present subjunctive of faigh
Usage notes
[edit]The standard form in the present subjunctive is the analytic construction go bhfaighe mé, and in the future faighidh mé is also standard. The future form undergoes eclipsis rather than lenition after ní (“not”).
