fårrå (present tense fær, past tense fór, past participle fårre or firri)

  1. (dialectal, Trøndelag dialect) alternative form of fara (to travel, go, drive, move)
    • 1990, Per Bergersen (lyrics and music), “Hematt”:
Je vill hållå me her og sjå sola,
      den ser'u aller fra Vola.
Men te hausten da ska je fårrå,
her går det itt an å vårrå
I will hold me down here and see the sun,
you never see it from Vola.
But, when autumn will start, I'm gonna move,
(because) it's no way anybody can stay here
