     The silver-salt, AgO, C₁₈H₉O₇, is obtained as a white precipitate, on addition of nitrate of protoxide of silver to everninate of ammonia.

   • 2012, Yoshinori Asakawa, ‎Agnieszka Ludwiczuk, ‎Fumihiro Nagashima, Chemical Constituents of Bryophytes, page 503:

     Among these, Plagiochila stricta elaborated not only bicyclogermacrene (293) but also methyl everninate (= methyl 2-hydroxy-4-methoxy-6 methyl benzoate) (1736) as major components (221).
