The correct spelling of this term is disputed. According to Nykysuomen sanakirja and some more modern sources [1] the phrase should be written as two separate words: ennen kuulumaton. On the other hand, spelling as one word is more common, at least on the internet, and it has also entered the word list of Research Institute for the Languages of Finland.
