From drool +‎ -er.

Noun

[edit]

drooler (plural droolers)

  1. A person or animal who drools.
    • 2012, Angela Wynne, The Baby Cheapskate Guide to Bargains, page 206:
Some babies are serious droolers, and some aren't. My son certainly was. Our little leaky faucet had to wear a drool bib at all times, and went through them at the rate of one per hour, even more when he was teething.
  2. (informal) An extremely stupid person; a moron.
    • 1997, Quill & Quire, volume 63, page 28:
[] Internet droolers are not only proven wrong, but (virtually) expunged from the planet.
