driving van trailer (plural driving van trailers) abbreviated as DVT
- (rail transport) a purpose-built railway vehicle that allows the driver to operate a locomotive at the opposite end of a train.

- Grand Union proposes to use Class 91s hauling up to nine coaches and a driving van trailer to operate the service.
