Zionist mythology often casts the Israel-Palestine conflict as a centuries-old religious conflict between Jews and Palestinian Arabs. This is a historical fiction. The reality is a settler-colonial conflict, which emerged only in the early twentieth century. Zionism, the ideological foundation on which the Israeli state is built, emerged in the late nineteenth century in reaction to European anti-Semitism.
Thần thoại theo chủ nghĩa Phục quốc Do Thái thường coi xung đột Israel-Palestine là một xung đột tôn giáo đã kéo dài hàng thế kỷ giữa người Do Thái và người Ả Rập Palestine. Đây chỉ là một cuốn tiểu thuyết về lịch sử. Thực tế là xung đột giữa người định cư và thuộc địa chỉ mới xuất hiện vào đầu thế kỷ XX.
