bro'r

From Wiktionary, the free dictionary

Danish

[edit]

Etymology

[edit]

Contraction of broder (brother). Eventually this form became normalized, and the apostrophe omitted: bror, whereas broder came to occupy a formal register. Compare mo'r, fa'r.

Noun
