[edit]Inherited from Ottoman Turkish بلجمله (bilcümle),[1][2] from Arabic بِالْجُمْلَة (bi-l-jumla), from بِـ (bi-) + اَلْ (al-) + جُمْلَة (jumla),[3] equivalent to bil- + cümle (“all, everybody; sentence”).
