Borrowed from Old Church Slavonic безъчьстьникъ (bezŭčĭstĭnikŭ), from безъ- (bezŭ-) +‎ чьсть (čĭstĭ) +‎ -ьникъ (-ĭnikŭ), from Proto-Slavic *bez- (without) + *čьstь (honor) + *-nikъ.
