[edit]Reduplication of bazı (“some, indistinct, or certain (known but not specifically named)”), inherited from Ottoman Turkish بعضی بعضی (bʿażı bʿażı),[1] from Arabic بَعْض (baʕḍ, “some, part”).[2]
