[edit]- anumpoli (Humes)
Etymology
[edit]From anompa + -li (active verb forming suffix). Note that anompa must have originally also been a neutral verb for it to have been suffixed with -li, it likely meant something like "to be spoken" or "to be said". The second 'o' is likely because of assimilation. Compare Choctaw anompoli.
