agalmatolite (countable and uncountable, plural agalmatolites)

  1. (mineralogy) A soft, compact stone, of a grayish, greenish, or yellowish color, carved into images by the Chinese, and hence called figure stone, and pagodite. It is probably a variety of pinite.
