• Hi, @Imetsia. I think you're an OK guy. However, since you were nominated by the serial username creator (SUC) known here mainly as "Wonderfool", I think it's fair to ask: Are you one of his accounts?
• Has anyone performed checks on Imetsia? I believe you sysops refer to this as a "CheckUser"?
• Can anyone vouch for Imetsia?

@Dentonius There isn't much reason to suppose Imetsia would be Wonderfool. Wonderfool mostly edits English, Spanish and French; Imetsia's edits are focused on Italian. And Imetsia has been here for almost 2 years with nearly 8000 edits; Wonderfool is usually banned within two months of creating a new account. ←₰-→ Lingo ^Bingo _Dingo (talk) 08:27, 25 November 2020 (UTC)

Thanks for replying, LBD. He knows German as well. He's been learning languages. When we think we're smarter than the con artist that's when we'll get duped. The accounts you spot are the "easy" ones. We ought to be worried about his "sleepers." I'm not impugning Imetsia. He's been a nice guy in all my interactions with him. I just want to know why this sophisticated vandal nominated him. Now it's three years, could've sworn you wrote five yesterday. This is starting to get ridiculous and the only thing you're actually achieving is pissing off every active contributor on this site. What is your endgame? You've made it perfectly clear from your user page that you a) are highly selective when discussing issues with people "who just don't get it" (N.B. paraphrasing here), b) you have a bone to pick with this project's deletion process and CFI, and c) act knowledgeable and well-mannered at first, paranoid and passive-aggressive as soon as you come across something you don't like. Questioning Imetsia like this, knowing very well that WF has nominated several known and productive users during the course of the last few years, is just beyond me quite frankly. --Robbie SWE (talk) 11:07, 25 November 2020 (UTC)

@Dentonius: I'm sorry, that is not the lesson you should take from this. What you should take from this is that, although you aren't an idiot, neither are the other editors. You don't have to be the best to be valuable, but the way you act the whole time suggests that no other is, or that they are, but only for your own personal benefit. I would not be the only one to say that they don't want you to go, but rather change your view on this dictionary and its contributors. As for this issue here, I would think that after about a decade of knowing WF, most well-established editors would know what to expect from him and how to recognise him. You ought to have a little faith in others, or otherwise be able to put up with them disagreeing. Thadh (talk) 14:10, 25 November 2020 (UTC)

@Dentonius, don't you think it's a tad melodramatic reverting ongoing discussions and deleting personal subpages? Look, neither I nor most users around here want you to stop engaging and being an active contributor. However, I do advise you to take a step back, breathe in a whiff of fresh air and just chill out – if you have confidence in due process and the editors on this site, the right thing will happen in the end. It might take a while, but good always prevails. In reference to your fear of WF, I assure you that Wiktionary is a lot stronger today than it was when havoc was wreaked upon it.
