Some guidelines for entries

Hi, good to see you’re getting the hang of Wiktionary syntax. You’ve created quite a few good entries, but in order to keep things organised you’ll need to keep some simple rules in mind:

• Avoid making entries that are SOP—that is, whose entire meaning can be understood from their component words. În mijlocul pustietății, for example, certainly does not qualify for inclusion. See, however, WT:Collocations.
• The criteria for inclusion say that, to be added, a word needs three citations in durably archived sources (i. e. books—the easiest way to check is to look up the word on Google, preferably in quotation marks, and check the ‘Books’ tab). I have no doubt that șarmută is a real word that people use, but under these criteria it cannot be included.

Trage for ‘to smoke’

I very belatedly (no excuse) took a look at the quotation you added. It seems much more likely to me that trage has meaning #15 (‘exert oneself’) in the song, given the context of the line. Could you perhaps replace the quotation? ―⁠Biolongvistul (talk) 18:43, 9 May 2024 (UTC)
