failing RFVs

[edit]

When you fail an RFV but can't delete the entry yourself you can set |fail=1 in the RFV box which marks it for speedy deletion—just did it at vystopia. —Al-Muqanna المقنع (talk) 08:54, 5 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the tip! Pious Eterino (talk)

I suggest you thoroughly read the instructions at the top of WT:RFVE. A request needs to be closed before it can be archived, which takes place at least a week later so as many people as possible can see the result and contest it if need be. You nominated, archived, and marked Talk:clonocounter for speedy deletion yourself, but the process is designed to require input from multiple users. In this case, I don't think anyone's going to challenge it, so I deleted it anyway, but please follow the correct procedure from now on. Ultimateria (talk) 00:37, 30 August 2023 (UTC)atReply

Thanks again. I can't see any part in the instructions at the top that require that multiple people be involved in each request. However, if it is true that I missed one step of the process, or got the timing wrong, then I apologize. I shall be more attentive in future. Pious Eterino (talk) 20:50, 31 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

Admin?

[edit]

You do quite a lot of boring work. Fancy the admin power? Seoovslfmo (talk) 00:23, 25 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Well, it has taken 6 weeks to reply to this message, so I'm probably not the right guy for the role. Maybe once I contribute more regularly. Pious Eterino (talk) 10:45, 11 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

WT:RFM archiving

[edit]

Deleting discussions without archiving them is not acceptable. — SURJECTION / T / C / L / 21:52, 28 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

That must have been an error in the archiver. Nonetheless, I acknowledge I'm 100% responsible for using it. Out of interest, where should that discussion have been archived to? Pious Eterino (talk) 16:51, 22 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

You forgot to move the discussions to the talk pages :( 14:10, 11 December 2024 (UTC)

Oh, thanks for the notice and sorry again. I'll redo those ones. Pious Eterino (talk) 11:11, 21 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
