Spanish noun plurals
[edit]Nouns ending in -ón (usually) have plural -ones (the accent is removed). DTLHS (talk) 20:01, 19 August 2016 (UTC)
When you added "m=viringo" (that does nothing here), did you really mean to put "f=viringa" instead? SemperBlotto (talk) 06:27, 20 August 2016 (UTC)
- I think viringo is the masculine form of that word. Isn't that what it shows when I put "m=viringo"? Osbri (talk) 02:34, 20 August 2016
- No. You use m=... within a feminine adjective to show what the masculine form is. In a masculine adjective, you use f=... to show what the feminine form is. Look at the documentation of the template

Hey. Thanks for the Spanish slang. Lots of great stuff. I have a question though... what would be the feminine form of deguabinao? deguabinada? deguabiná? --Q9ui5ckflash (talk) 10:09, 14 September 2016 (UTC)
Also, could you tell me what sense of "full" this has? Full like a room, a bottle? Or full like full of food after eating a lot? --Q9ui5ckflash (talk) 10:12, 14 September 2016 (UTC)

Hi. I see that you have recreated this entry, after it was explained to you that such entries are not appropriate at Wiktionary and it was deleted by community consensus. Please do not recreate deleted entries any more, and if you're still unclear on what kinds of entries do and don't belong at Wiktionary, ask me or take a look at WT:CFI. —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 18:44, 20 August 2018 (UTC)
- Um, you deleted the talk page, but not the recreated entry itself. Sorry for crashing in like this, but was that surely intentional? SURJECTION ·talk·contr·log· 18:49, 20 August 2018 (UTC)

Might “far from” be SOP? —Osbri 20:41, 22 August 2018 (ET)
- In the sense of "London is far from Beijing", yes. Our entry has a less literal sense. —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 23:11, 22 August 2018 (UTC)

Maybe ‘away from’ might be idiomatic. —Osbri 00:55, 24 August 2018 (ET)
- It's not. If you can't tell, you should avoid creating that kind of entry. —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 05:18, 24 August 2018 (UTC)
- I think I probably see. Might a preposition have a thought or meaning that ‘away from’ has? —Osbri 11:28, 04 September 2018 (ET)
