Deletion discussion
[edit]The following information has failed Wiktionary's deletion process.
It should not be re-entered without careful consideration.
away + from. Going through all of User:Osbri's edits now and seeing which ones we should take out. Philmonte101 (talk) 13:58, 5 August 2016 (UTC)
- Additionally, if this is to be deleted, we should also contact the Chinese Wiktionary about their allegedly SoP entry. Philmonte101 (talk) 13:59, 5 August 2016 (UTC)
- Why might it be deleted? Osbri (talk) 22:01, 11 August 2016
- @ User:Osbri Hi. I appreciate your contributions here, as they seem to be in good faith. But you must keep in mind that in Wiktionary we generally don't allow SoP entries. Please see WT:SOP for more information, and I really suggest reading it before creating another entry that contains more than one word. I would have speedied this, but I wanted a community discussion since users like User:Dan Polansky may argue about it being a translation target, or another user might argue about people not being able to find the definitions at our entries for away and from. But since no such discussion has come up yet, this entry will probably be deleted when the one month period is over. My reasoning specifically for deletion is that people could say "away from" as well as saying "away to". They're both SOP, as you can find the definition at away and from, away and to. - Oh, I see now. Osbri (talk) 02:27, 13 August 2016
- Delete. Renard Migrant (talk) 16:53, 17 August 2016 (UTC)
