New account

[edit]

This is my new account. NativeCat drop by and say Hi! 05:16, 30 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

Why? Wonderfool's sockpuppetry is annoying enough. We do not need another person doing this.
By the way, there is Wiktionary:Changing username. Though if you keep changing names at this rate, I would not be surprised if your requests started being rejected.
Also, congratulations on finding an actual loophole in our signature rules. There might be no rule against images in signatures, but I still think they are a bad idea. The reasons listed at w:WP:SIGIMAGE should be sufficient. Keφr 13:17, 30 December 2014 (UTC)Reply
This is the last time I plan to change accounts. I wanted a name that was original, not one copied off of a TV episode. NativeCat drop by and say Hi! 05:31, 31 December 2014 (UTC)Reply
I also recommend not using images in your signature. — Ungoliant (falai) 03:28, 9 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
Didn't Equinox, at least at one point, have an image in his signature? I may be mistaken, so please forgive me if I am @User:Equinox, but I thought I saw one of a dao symbol or something. NativeCat drop by and say Hi! 03:34, 9 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
Never an image. It's a fancy text character. Images have different problems (slower to load, less accessible with screen-readers, etc.). Equinox 03:38, 9 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
Idk, I'll consider your advice and take the images out, since it's clearly bothering people here. Why should I keep a signature that bothers all these people? Even though it's not a rule. NativeCat drop by and say Hi! 03:47, 9 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
<sarcasm level="1%"> Thank you for being considerate. </sarcasm>. Keφr 10:28, 9 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

CPCFC, CPCTC

[edit]

As a heads-up, "abbreviation" headers are on their way out. Though to be honest, I am not sure how to classify these two by part of speech. For comparison, IANAL was classified as a "phrase", but I am not particularly happy with it. Keφr 18:10, 12 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

The part-of-speech question is probably best answered with citations. Here is one suggesting noun use:

  • 2012, David M. Clark, Euclidean Geometry: A Guided Inquiry Approach, American Mathematical Soc. →ISBN, page 4
Problem 2. Find two cyber-frogs A to F that are not congruent. Use CPCFC to explain in words how you know they are not congruent.

If you can find a few more, please add them. Keφr 18:15, 12 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

The only constructed languages approved by the CFI are Esperanto, Ido, Interlingua, Interlingue, Lojban, Novial and Volapük. All others can only be included in the Appendix namespace.

Also, mis is not Idiom Neutral’s language code. It means missing. — Ungoliant (falai) 17:09, 15 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

Mona the Vampire

[edit]

Hi! You should understand that if you continue creating articles like the one you created for Mona in the Russian Wikipedia, they will be deleted...
Aren't you an experienced editor? Read WP:N, WP:RS, Wikipedia:Citing sources. You need to demonstrate the notability of the subject and prove it with reliable sources.
By the way, I've searched for sources a little bit, the results are here: Википедия:К удалению/9 апреля 2015#Мона Вампир. But I won't be able to help any more. You should write a short carefully sourced article in English first. And then translate it into other languages. --Moscow Connection (talk) 22:31, 10 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

By the way, it's not true that it hasn't been shown on the TV in Russia, It was. I remember I watched it. --Moscow Connection (talk) 22:36, 10 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hi! (I dropped by)

[edit]

You're playing Adventures in the Magic Kingdom?! There's a blast from the past. I remember playing it around the time it came out! My buddy and I had such high hopes only to have 'em crushed :P (We weren't too impressed then) I kinda liked the ghost level although it was really frustrating, but remember hating the train thing. That was so random/trial and error stuff.
Well, I'm off again! OmikronWeapon (talk) 19:58, 2 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

It seems like you forgot to put "User:" in the page title.—suzukaze (tc) 01:25, 17 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

I deleted it. She went on to recreate it in her user space, then asked for that version to be deleted. There's not enough content to make moving it worthwhile, even if that weren't true. Chuck Entz (talk) 03:18, 17 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Dubious forms produced by {{da-conj-reg}}

[edit]

Hi NativeCat

I am writing concerning the template {{da-conj-reg}}. The template produces "passive" forms of the two common Danish participles, both suffixed with an -s. As a native Danish speaker, this seems strange to me. For instance, for the verb "at danse" the template produces the forms "dansendes" and "dansets". I think this is wrong; such forms do not exist (the form "dansendes" does exist, but as a genitive of the base form "dansende", not as a passive form). —Pinnerup (talk) 19:09, 27 March 2016 (UTC)Reply
