I am 9E2 from Norwegian Wikipedia and Wiktionary and work mostly with Norwegian words. At the moment I learn Mandarin Chinese, Icelandic and Dutch. Earlier I worked with French as well, so I am able to understand some texts in French. Normally, when I write non-private texts, I write Norwegian Bokmål (together with 85-90 % of the Norwegian population). This is because people around me write it too (almost everbody in Eastern Norway does). However, I recently discovered that my spoken language is closer to Nynorsk than Bokmål and I am now writing primarily in Nynorsk (unlike Bokmål, Nynorsk isn't based on Danish and contains fewer loan words). My goal is to be able to write (Høgnorsk), which is more similar to the other West Nordic languages (Icelandic and Faroese), and did not experience the same "Danishizing" as the eastern dialects did during the Danish-Norwegian real union (1536-1814).
