@Thadh Hello! Thank you again for this, it's amazing! There's just one mistake that I've noticed. For words with initial Ci structure (like bicara, cio, etc.), the non-imperative conjugations assimlate to e, and only the imperative conjugations assimilate to i, but currently the template is assimilating everything to i. It's just the matter of whether there's an intervening consonant or not (initial-i verbs are handled perfectly!). Also, what is this #switch thing you're using in the code? It looks so fancy. @Alexlin01: what about now?
{{#switch is basically a nested {{#ifeq, where you give multiple comparisons, so {{#switch:{{{1}}}|a=a|b=c}} is the same as {{#ifeq:{{{1}}}|a|a|{{#ifeq:{{{1}}}|b|c}}}} Thadh (talk) 08:04, 21 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Thadh: Thank you for the fix and the explanation! It looks to be working perfectly now :) Alexlin01 (talk) 15:38, 21 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Thadh: Sorry to bother you again, but I completely forgot about multiword verb entries. For example, bodo bosi should hold bodo ("belly") and conjugate bosi ("swollen"). How would we handle that? I could also manually create a table at the entry if that's easier. Alexlin01 (talk) 16:17, 21 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Alexlin01: What about making a see-template, like for instance {{izh-conj-see}}? Thadh (talk) 16:59, 21 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Thadh: Thanks! That was perfect. :D Alexlin01 (talk) 22:01, 24 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

Bot?

[edit]

Hello @Surjection! Would you be able to run a bot to add a conjugation template to the West Makian (mqs) verb entries? If possible, could you add {{mqs-conj|1}} to all entries in Category:West Makian ditransitive verbs, Category:West Makian intransitive verbs, and Category:West Makian transitive verbs and {{mqs-conj|3}} to all entries in Category:West Makian stative verbs? I've already added it to a few entries. Thanks again! Alexlin01 (talk) 16:08, 21 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

OK, I'll try running a bot job like that. — SURJECTION / T / C / L / 16:18, 21 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Alexlin01 The following ones failed: au fi, bafo, bodo bosi, dee, gagararo, gilit loto, magol, mo, sagal gou, utu, either due to having multiple etymologies, having multiple words or being in multiple conflicting categories, mistagged parts-of-speech, etc. — SURJECTION / T / C / L / 16:39, 21 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Surjection: Thank you so much! I'll go in and handle those manually. I really appreciate it :) Alexlin01 (talk) 16:40, 21 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
