Error

[edit]

Something is wrong with this template. See for example πόλις. The top of the table says {{{title}}}. —Stephen 08:27, 23 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Yes, I apologize for that. I'm in the process of doing a bit of an overhaul on the grc declension templates, and that is a bit of transition mess spilling over into the entries. I'll fix it. -Atelaes λάλει ἐμοί 08:32, 23 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

iota quantities

[edit]

What are the quantities of the letters iota in the lower table's nominative dual and plural, all three genitive, dative dual, second dative plural, accusative dual, second dative plural, and vocative dual and plural forms? @JohnC5, ObsequiousNewt? — I.S.M.E.T.A. 11:43, 5 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

The only long iota is the accusative plural from -ινς. Incidentally, I'm still working on a module to replace all of the templates, which we are currently in the process of testing (which process you are welcome to assist in.)ObsequiousNewt (εἴρηκα|πεποίηκα) 17:58, 5 June 2015 (UTC)Reply
@I'm so meta even this acronym: yes, if you would like to head over to User:JohnC5/Sandbox1 & User:JohnC5/Sandbox4, you'll find our testing ground and every AG word I've ever edited. I was in the process of converting all the nouns to the new table system if you wanted even more work to do! —JohnC5 19:10, 5 June 2015 (UTC)Reply
@ObsequiousNewt: Re "The only long iota is the accusative plural from -ινς.", the only accusative plural forms I see are -εις, -ῑς, and -ιᾰς; did you mean -ῑς or something else?
@ObsequiousNewt, JohnC5: Thank you for the invitation to help with this, but I don't think I'm qualified to help (I'm rubbish with Lua); besides that, I'm not keeping on top of the things I've already started, so I shouldn't take on more projects. Sorry, guys. I wish you the best of luck.
