Acceleration of mpl

[edit]

When clicking on masculine plural forms, it creates them as feminine forms. Yet, AFAICT, the code on this template seems to be right. So I can't fix it alone. Mglovesfun (talk) 20:31, 11 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Even worse (or better?) the next time I tried it, it worked fine. Hmm. Mglovesfun (talk) 20:45, 11 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Unprotection?

[edit]

I think protection on this template (as well as the other ca-inflection templates) is a bit overboard. Yes, it's used a few times, but it doesn't seem like a high-profile vandalism target, nor would half the wiki break if someone changed it. {{nl-adj}} is used way more often and I don't think that needs protecting either. I think in this case the advantages of being able to make small edits and fixes outweigh the possible damage that could be caused by a bad change. —CodeCat 21:10, 23 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Fair enough. Mglovesfun (talk) 22:08, 23 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Problem with -ós ending

[edit]

I guess that's a a bug. Check out the adjective llefiscós. The feminine singular and plural are right, with the accent removed (llefiscosa, llefiscoses), but the masculine singlular is wrong: *llefiscóss instead of llefiscosos. I've tried to override this manually, but I can't find the "masculine plural" parameter (shouldn't it be something like "mpl"?). Thanks--Fauban (talk) 09:53, 3 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

I fixed it now, thank you for reporting it. —CodeCat 11:41, 3 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

Identical form in singular but not in plural

[edit]

I failed to set the inflexion for manx with this template and I had to change to general head:

manx m or f (masculine plural manxos, feminine plural manxes)

It could be expected in all -x endings with g=m-f, like circumflex, the same way as feliç do. --Vriullop (talk) 10:23, 23 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

Fixed now. But g=m-f is not valid, for future reference. —CodeCat 12:30, 23 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

One Template needed for Adjective Form Acceleration

[edit]

The template {{ca-adj-form}} isn't present when one clicks on a link to a yet-to-be-created entry for Catalan adjective forms. --Lo Ximiendo (talk) 22:27, 22 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

What is there instead? —CodeCat 22:38, 22 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
{{head|ca|adjective form}} --Lo Ximiendo (talk) 22:43, 22 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
That's ok too. —CodeCat 23:07, 22 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
So how does one change the content of accelerated entries? --Lo Ximiendo (talk) 23:12, 22 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
In User:Conrad.Irwin/creationrules.js. This shouldn't be changed though. —CodeCat 23:15, 22 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
