Would it be possible to edit this template in order to accommodate the ieista pronunciations of Balearic? Linguoboy (talk) 21:52, 23 October 2020 (UTC)
I find pretty awkward that velarised lateral [ɫ] or dark l is not explicit for Central Catalan and Balearic, and certainly for all coda positions. Esberginia (talk) 18:26, 4 June 2024 (UTC)
@IvanScrooge98 According to the audiofile and DNV [1], /d/ is [d] in this position, and not [ð]. Sérgio Santos (talk) 22:06, 11 November 2024 (UTC)
- Yep, as in other languages, Catalan /d/ never lenites after /l/. A change needs to be made to Module:ca-IPA somewhere after line 957, but simply removing ⟨l⟩ from the code would also result in [lɡ] and [lb] for [lɣ] and [lβ]. Someone with Lua abilities should intervene. [ˌiˑvã̠n̪ˑˈs̪kr̺ud͡ʒʔˌn̺ovã̠n̪ˑˈt̪ɔ̟t̪ːo] (parla con me) 23:00, 11 November 2024 (UTC)

- I'm certainly not that person! I pinged you because I saw that you created the template. Sérgio Santos (talk) 23:08, 11 November 2024 (UTC)- I did create it but barely ever touched its source module as I lack the knowledge to do that. @Benwing2: could you sort this out? Thanks! - No one showed up here despite notification, so I opened a discussion at the module talk. Let’s hope someone sees it. [ˌiˑvã̠n̪ˑˈs̪kr̺ud͡ʒʔˌn̺ovã̠n̪ˑˈt̪ɔ̟t̪ːo] (parla con me) 22:57, 16 November 2024 (UTC)
