ʾiḍāfa constructions
[edit]@Benwing, Wikitiki89 You may want to consider using something like {{ru-decl-noun-see}}
, a redirect for declensions so that only the term is linked to the part of the term, e.g. to link بيت المقدس to بيت for declension. The same can be done with verbs in idioms. --Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 01:31, 6 January 2015 (UTC)
- @Atitarev Thanks. I've already fixed things so that we can express the declension for most phrases although this is definitely not a bad idea. Benwing (talk) 01:36, 6 January 2015 (UTC)
Defective nouns, indefinite accusative
[edit]Isn't for example وَادِيً / wādiyan wrong as final ي cannot carry tanwin fatha? Shouldn't there be وَادِيًا instead? Man77 (talk) 16:07, 24 May 2015 (UTC)
- Yes. Where do you see وَادِيً? Benwing (talk) 03:47, 26 May 2015 (UTC)
How to use inflection types
[edit]The documentation page lists codes for inflection types, but where are these codes supposed to be added to the template? |inflection=
appears not to be recognized. I can't find the page mentioning another parameter in which to put the inflection codes. — Eru·tuon 00:54, 16 November 2016 (UTC)
Reading the template
[edit]It would be very useful for hobbyists like myself if the documentation included, in addition to the extensive notes on how to properly add the template to a page, notes on how to read the template. "Basic triptote" does not seem to be a common term in English-language discussion of Arabic, and therefore its meaning is obscure. --157.131.220.12 02:24, 18 February 2021 (UTC)
