Vasmer or Fasmer?

@Benwing2, Vahagn_Petrosyan There's probably one issue with this template. The German spelling of the surname is "Vasmer" (pronounced with an [f]), although in Russian it's obviously written phonetically as Фа́смер (Fásmɛr). I am not suggesting to use "ɛ" or stress marks in the template but the surname could use the original German spelling "Vasmer", or the retransliterated from Russian "Fasmer". Max Vasmer was German but Russian born (moved to Germany later), it's the usual question of how names of migrants should be written or pronounced. --Anatoli T. ^{(обсудить}/^вклад) 07:36, 3 April 2016 (UTC)

Anatoli, there are contexts where acting all liberal and humanitarian is not appropriate. Azerbaijani soldiers kill children and the elderly. They deserve to die.

As for Fasmer's spelling, it is a difficult question. Some academic works normalize the spelling of the author to the one usually used in that language. Others transliterate mechanically. Still others give both, as I have done in Template:R:xcl:Tērvišean:Naxal. I do not mind to changing the spelling to whichever others prefer. --Vahag (talk) 15:18, 4 April 2016 (UTC)

Putting citation to the separate citation page

@Atitarev, Benwing2 If you look at the PC version of a Wiktionary entry, you can see three pages with tabs (Entry, Discussion, and Citations). I know some might think this is a very crazy idea, but would it be possible to put this Russian reference template over there instead of putting it in the entry section?
