This template adds a verb-conjugation table for Old Irish simplex verbs, i.e. those that take no prefix and distinguish between absolute and conjunct forms.

All the parameters are optional. Only those forms actually attested in Old Irish should be listed. Multiple forms can be given, either by separating the forms with a comma or using parameters named FORM2, FORM3, etc. for a given form parameter FORM. Given forms will automatically be linked to the appropriate Old Irish section and do *NOT* need to be specifically formatted using {{l|sga|...}} or with .... To add a qualifier comment, use the form parameter name appended with _q. For example:

|present_3p_conj=·foat, ·faat, ·faeat
|present_3s_conj=·beir
|present_3s_conj2=not·beir
|present_3s_conj2_q=prefixed with {{m|sga|[[no-]][[t-]]}}

You can freely combine comma-separated forms and multi-parameter forms.

Parentheses in forms will automatically be expanded. For example, if the following is specified:

|present_3s_rel=be(i)res

then the actual table will list two forms beres and beires, each linked appropriately.

The parameters for the conjugation classes are as follows:

  • | present_class=A I / A II / A III / B I / B II / B III / B IV / B V
  • | present_class2=A I / A II / A III / B I / B II / B III / B IV / B V
  • | preterite_class=s / t / reduplicated / reduplicated s / suffixless
  • | future_class=f / reduplicated / é / s
  • | future_class2=f / reduplicated / é / s
  • | subjunctive_class=a / s

Any other classificatory information can be added with class=, e.g.:

  • | class=deponent
