Usage

Used on the definition line of a patronymic.

Parameters

Most parameters are the same as in {{surname}}. The following parameters are specific to {{patronymic}}:

|1= (required)
The language code of the term. See Wiktionary:List of languages.
|2= (required)
Gender of patronymic; either m/male, f/female or c/common-gender/unisex.
|3=
Adjective or qualifier.

See {{surname}} for parameters such as |xlit=, |eq=, |from=, etc.


This template adds the page to the following categories (where LANG is the language whose code is specified using |1=):

1. For Icelandic Jónsdóttir:
