This is a template for preterite-present verbs in Icelandic, including their principal parts (kennimyndir).
Usage
[edit]- For the verb unna (“to love”):
- {{is-verb-preterite|ann|unni|unað}}, where the first parameter is the third person singular present indicative ann (“[he/she/it] loves”), the second parameter is the third person singular past indicative form unni (“[he/she/it] loved”) and the third parameter is the supine unnað (“[someone has] loved”)
