This template is intended for Spanish one-word combinations of infinitive, present participle (gerund), or imperative forms of ordinary verbs with one or two pronouns.

Examples

tómalo: {{es-compound of|tom|ar|toma|lo|mood=imp|person=tú}}

tomarlo: {{es-compound of|tom|ar||lo|mood=inf}}

tomándolo: {{es-compound of|tom|ar|tomando|lo|mood=part}}

Parameters

Include the following parameters:

{{{1}}} - verb stem (first-person singular infinitive with -ar/-er/-ir/-ír removed)

{{{2}}} - infinitive ending ("ar", "er", "ir", or "ír")

{{{3}}} - the verb form (without accent), can be left empty for compound forms of infinitives

{{{4}}} - the first pronoun

{{{5}}} - the second pronoun, leave empty for compound forms with only one pronoun

{{{mood}}} - must be one of:

"inf" or "infinitive", e.g. tomarlo, tomárselo

"part", "participle", "adv", "adverbial", "ger", "gerund", "gerundive", "gerundio", "present participle" or "present-participle", e.g. tomándolo

"imp" or "imperative"

{{{person}}} - required for imperative forms, must be one of:

"tú", "tu" or "inf" for informal 2nd person singular forms, e.g. toma, tómate

"vosotros", "v" or "inf-pl" for informal 2nd person plural forms, e.g. tomad, tomaos

"nosotros" e.g. tomémonos

"usted", "ud" or "f" for formal 2nd person singular forms, e.g. tome, tómese

"ustedes", "uds" or "f-pl" for formal 2nd person plural forms, ("ustedes"), e.g. tomen, tómense
