A header to provide text for the top of each page of the Appendix:Greek verbs
  • Αn arbitrary list of some 9,000 Greek verbs together with their chief inflected forms.
  • Users are warned — these tables have omissions and contain errors.
  • Potential editors are requested to note and copy the table format,
  • Sources sometimes differ — the presence or absence of a form should not taken as evidence.
  • The main lemma form on each line in the table links to a Wiktionary entry or potential entry; there are additional links to:
    • el   — το Βικιλεξικό
    •   — to "The Portal for the Greek Language" — "Η Πύλη για την Ελληνική Γλώσσα"
  • The translation may be approximate and will not include every meaning, which may be seen at the verb's entry.
  • Forms of a verb may often be listed in the same line, usually with the most common form first. Sometimes adjacent verbs are related and tied together with a broader, shared border - the colour is not significant.
  • With second conjugation verbs the "-άω" (and sometimes the "-'ιζω") forms are listed with the "" form, even when that form is less common.
  • The major sources used are listed at the foot of this page.
