I am requesting the attestation of the existence of the form in English, in the first place. I cannot find anything on Google Books and Usenet; even google:"xiguas" does not seem to find anything. --Dan Polansky (talk) 08:36, 15 July 2012 (UTC)Reply
I've brought xigua back purely for the purposes of this rfv: it means that non-admins will be able to see the entry's history, contributors and so on. Mglovesfun (talk) 17:53, 16 July 2012 (UTC)Reply
This is total utter bs. xīguā is the pinyin for 西瓜 (Citrullus vulgaris), which is the exact Mandarin equivalent of watermelon (Citrullus vulgaris). The author might have spotted its use in an Asian supermarket, written by someone who didn't know how to say it in English. Jamesjiao → T ◊ C22:42, 17 July 2012 (UTC)Reply
