I think this term has been applied to males more than it has been applied to females. Maybe there should be a usage notes section that says just that. --User123o987name (talk) 02:00, 9 May 2019 (UTC)

Synonyms "bastard" and "son of a bitch" are the same and said worldwide.

In conversations such as "You lucky son of a bitch." and "You lucky bastard." says this even common IRL (In real life) usage in age group by teenagers and adults. Women can say it to also to men as well. Countries included US, Phillippines, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, India, Japan, China ETC.
