Why was this nominated for deletion? "Quark theory" is not the theory of quarks, but refers to a specific theory used before the development of QCD (and still valid within QCD theory and the Standard Model). The original quark theory actually formed part of the basis for later string theory. Nicole Sharp (talk) 14:38, 10 April 2013 (UTC)
