Armuça

[edit]

From what I could find, armuça comes from Portuguese almoçar (cf. eye dialect armoçar), but it's not well-documented enough for me to add it as a separate term, i.e. sample size = 1. Although I do wonder whether it is /aɾˈmusa/ i.e. armúça or /aɾmuˈsa/, i.e. armuçâ. If anyone knows, HMU. But here's this, if anyone was wondering where armuça came from.
