Noun vs Adjective

[edit]

Some sources, including the online dictionary of the Turkish Language Association, list this word as an adjective. However the word is more commonly used in its nominalized form as a noun. It would be more accurate to say that it's a noun that's sometimes used attributively (similar to a word like Müslüman, which is used as an adjective more often than putperest but is still listed as a noun by the TLA).
