pushing up daisies and push up daisies

I think we should make one of them the lemma. Per utramque cavernam 23:55, 3 November 2018 (UTC)

To my surprise Google NGrams shows more occurrences of push up daisies than of pushing up daisies. Google Books shows about three times as much occurrence of pushing as of push. All the verb forms seems to be readily attestable at Google Books. Making the pushing form the lemmas gives short shrift to the other forms. DCDuring (talk) 03:14, 4 November 2018 (UTC)

Done, in that pushing up daisies now has a present-participle verb section. I left the adjective section, but if you feel it's redundant to the present participle, or not attested in 'adjectival' ways, it could be RFD or RFVed. (I don't mean to shunt people from forum to forum, but the adjective section seemed plausible enough to me, and has enough translations, that I wasn't going to just delete it. Merriam-Webster bizarrely has pushing up daisies defined as a verb infinitive form. Dictionary.com has only the infinitive.) - -sche (discuss) 23:09, 18 November 2018 (UTC)
