Current usage
[edit]It seems to me that current usage of the word 'pronouns' often has a meaning slightly different than just the plural of pronoun. 'Pronouns' is often used by people as a way to indicate which pronouns they prefer people use for them. This seems to me to worth a definition separate from just the reference to the singular form. - To support this idea, Merriam-Webster gives a separate definition: [1]. 70.175.192.217 01:23, 16 September 2021 (UTC)
- If someone's "pronouns" are he/him/... then each of them is still a pronoun (singular). I will add a sense at pronoun and note it's often used in the plural. Equinox ◑ 01:29, 16 September 2021 (UTC)
- Excellent. That fixes it. TundraGreen (talk) 03:09, 19 September 2021 (UTC)
