Pogey bait alternative origin
[edit]I always suspected the term came from the Philippines. Pogi means 'handsome'in Tagalog. I just assumed soldiers would bring extra food in case there was a possibility of a romantic liason. Hence, the bait making them pogi. 2600:387:A:19:0:0:0:34 17:32, 2 October 2024 (UTC)
