Iranian, not Scythian

One of principal sound changes from Proto-Iranian to Scythian is *p>f, cognate of Old Persian pathi in Ossetian, a direct descendant of Scythian language, is fændag, so it is meaningless to say the Proto-Germanic word is from Scythian. Mojshahmiri (talk) 15:00, 6 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
