Misspelling of party hearty? Equinox ◑ 19:39, 10 September 2015 (UTC)
- After reviewing uses I think that party hardy is a synonym, it is a more extreme version of party hearty. I will add synonyms.Yurivict (talk) 19:49, 10 September 2015 (UTC)
- I feel sure it's a misconstruction, because of how many Americans pronounce the letter t as /d/. Equinox ◑ 17:31, 11 January 2017 (UTC)
- See Yurivict's comment above. Webster's says that this phrase has a different meaning from party hearty and is completely valid. I think you'll find that party hearty, although correct in the 1900s, is archaic and no longer in use. https://www.merriam-webster.com/grammar/party-hearty-vs-party-hardy-usage-difference
