pêras

Portuguese. Had previously put this under {{d}}, but I realize the error of my ways. I'll give more explanation. This was never a thing, because the distinctive accent doesn't appear in inflections that have nothing to distinguish from. <pêra> /e/ exists because of <pera> /ɛ/; meanwhile, there is no <peras> /ɛ/, so the form with /e/ gets no accent. @Polomo47: Keep it as a misspelling of peras. The Web/Dialects Portuguese corpus contains 390 attestations to it. Davi6596 (talk) 18:26, 10 December 2024 (UTC)

Keep per Davi. I could also see someone (mistakenly) thinking it exists due to "peras" /ɛ/, inflection of "perar" from "esperar". MedK1 (talk) 16:48, 11 December 2024 (UTC)
